SMH Group, a Yorkshire & Derbyshire based professional services firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of two long-standing team members, reinforcing its commitment to developing talent and strengthening leadership across the business.
James Salim has been promoted to Partner at SMH Sutton McGrath Hartley, while Hannah Berridge has been promoted to Director of SMH Wills & Probate. Both are based in the Sheffield office and have been with SMH Group since 2017.
James specialises in audit and assurance, supporting businesses with clear, robust financial insight and compliance. His promotion to Partner reflects his technical expertise and the trusted relationships he has built with clients over the years.

Hannah has played a key role in the continued growth of SMH’s Wills & Probate service. Her promotion to Director recognises her professionalism, attention to detail, and the supportive approach she brings to clients navigating important personal decisions.
