At SMH Group, we are always evolving. This applies not only to how we support our clients, but also to how we present ourselves across the group. One of the projects we have recently completed is a subtle but important brand refresh.
As the group continues to grow and evolve, it is important that our visual identity reflects who we are and how we work. This refresh helps us communicate more clearly, both internally and externally.
Why the change?
Over time, the look and feel of our branding had become varied across different parts of the business. The updated branding brings everything into alignment and ensures that we present ourselves as one joined-up team, wherever you interact with us.
What’s new?
Updated fonts and lettering
We have introduced a new font across all branding. The letters in ‘SMH’ are now separated to improve legibility and bring consistency across all firm names and materials.
Logo sizing and layout
The word ‘Group’ is now the same size as ‘SMH’, and so are the names of our individual accountancy firms. This creates a more balanced look that works better in signage, digital use, and printed materials.
Simplified logos
All accountancy firms in the group now use the same font, and previous emblems have been removed. Each firm keeps its original colour, helping to maintain a strong local identity while aligning with the wider group.
Clearer presentation of services
Services such as Financial Services, Wills and Probate, Commercial Finance, Residential Mortgages and Corporate Finance are now shown in a two-line layout alongside the SMH name. This helps clearly distinguish our services when used in marketing materials, flyers or digital communications.
What happens next?
You will begin to see our new branding across signage, websites, marketing materials and communications in the coming months. While our visual identity is evolving, our approach remains the same. We continue to offer the personal support of a local advisor with the strength and reach of a wider group.
