SMH Group Charity Golf Day
On Friday 22nd August we hosted the 5th annual SMH Group Charity Golf Day in support of Andy’s Man Club and the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Business fives football tournament
A team from SMH Group emtered the Sheffield Business 5s tournament in tribute to Steve Burns. Our team put in a fantastic performance – finishing 2nd in their group to qualify for the Europa League stage, going unbeaten in 5 games, and making it all the way to the final.

Great to be at Rotherham Titans where Mark Bellwood and Mark Colton joined a networking event that coincided with the team’s pre-season game.
Charity cake sale
Our Sheffield office hosted a cake sale in support of our August charity of the month, Start-A-Heart 24:7 featuring a range of treats from brownies to scones!

ParFEST
Our Buxton office, SMH Bullock Woodburn sponsored a beer barrel at this year’s ParFEST, held at the Parwich Royal British Legion from 15 to 17 August.

After more than 11 years with SMH Group — starting as an apprentice and working in our Chesterfield, Sheffield and Leeds offices, most recently as a manager — Alice is now heading off on maternity leave.
We’re so grateful for everything Alice has contributed over the years and we can’t wait to meet the newest member of her family.
