Claire has been with the company all her professional career and following qualification, was appointed as a Partner in 1994 and became a Director of SMH Jolliffe Cork in 2021.
The diverse portfolio of clients within her care covers a wide range of businesses including charities and not for profit organisations. Claire primarily advises owner-managed entities who appreciate the very personal and hands-on approach she adopts in looking after both them and their business matters. She brings experience and a fresh perspective to looking after her clients’ affairs. Her blend of technical acumen and ability to adapt and relate to the specific needs of her clients has proved to be a winning formula.
Claire is also actively involved with the local business community having previously served as the Honorary Treasurer of the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and as a Trustee on the boards of the Wakefield Grammar School Foundation, Westbourne School in Sheffield and Theatre Royal Wakefield.
She has current appointments on the board of Helmsley Walled Garden and the Wakefield Cathedral Audit and Risk Committee.
