His background was heavily skewed towards audit due to his many years of auditing entities of varying sizes and complexities including not-for-profit organisations, owner managed businesses and companies listed on the stock exchange.

He joined Mitchells at the beginning of 2008 and brought with him far-reaching experience, having worked with firms of all sizes ranging from small independents to the “Big Four”.

Andrew became Partner in 2016 and now specialises in supporting high growth businesses, providing them with a broad range of proactive advice and assistance, advising on how their business and personal goals an be achieved. This includes raising grants, equity and debt finance.

He is an enthusiastic, driven Corporate Finance professional with many years’ experience in management buy-in’s, buy-outs (MBI’s / MBO’s), Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and undertaking due diligence assignments for banks. He has a proven track record of producing excellent results whilst working in a fast paced, pressured and dynamic environment.

Andrew is passionate about employee share ownership in all its forms and has years of experience working with owner managed businesses to motivate and reward their employees.

He has been providing specialist advice on the use of Employee Ownership Trusts since 2018 and has supported many companies through the decision to become employee owned.
