The role:
We are looking for a resolute Second Line IT Support person to join our team to work in partnership with our IT partners, and help us achieve our business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality IT support and service to our group and clients, ensuring needs are promptly and effectively and met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, both remotely and on-site.
- Work in partnership and collaboratively with our IT partners
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Monitor and manage service requests, ensuring timely resolution and communication with clients.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Document and maintain accurate records of service requests, resolutions, and client interactions.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and best practices to provide informed support.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery processes.
- Lead integration of IT infrastructure for Mergers & Acquisitions
- Manage IT hardware refresh programs
- Responsible for ITDR and ensuring our IT risks are appropriately managed and mitigated.
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology is desirable.
- Microsoft qualifications would be beneficial.
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks is a plus.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Experience with Sage 50 and IRIS is preferred.

- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, IT partners and clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to empathise with colleagues and clients and understand their needs and concerns.

- Ability to collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues before they become problems.
- Strong diligence to ensure accurate documentation and follow-up on service requests.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and provide flexible solutions.
